Ethics & Compliance

Last updated: January 2026

1. Our Commitment

textile.solutions is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for all stakeholders. This Ethics & Compliance policy outlines the principles and standards that guide our operations, technology, and relationships across the European textile ecosystem.

2. Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward bribery, corruption, and improper payments in any form. Our employees, contractors, and partners are prohibited from offering, giving, soliciting, or accepting anything of value intended to influence a business decision or public official. We comply with applicable anti-corruption laws including the Swedish Anti-Corruption Act and the UK Bribery Act where applicable.

3. Responsible AI Use

Our AI-powered matching and recommendation systems are designed and operated according to the following principles:

  • Transparency — users are informed when AI systems influence the content or connections they are shown.
  • Fairness — we actively work to identify and mitigate bias in our matching algorithms.
  • Human oversight — automated recommendations are advisory; final business decisions rest with users.
  • Data minimisation — AI models are trained only on data necessary for the stated purpose.
  • Compliance with the EU AI Act — our systems are developed in alignment with applicable AI regulation requirements.

4. Data Ethics

We handle personal and business data with care and purpose. We do not monetise user data through advertising or sell data to third parties. We are transparent about how data is used within the platform and we support users' rights to access, correct, and delete their information at any time.

5. Environmental Responsibility

As a platform dedicated to the textile industry — one of the world's most resource-intensive sectors — we recognise our responsibility to support sustainable practices. We prioritise data centre efficiency, minimise unnecessary computation, and actively promote circular economy and sustainability features within the platform.

6. Supplier and Partner Standards

We expect our suppliers and partners to uphold standards consistent with this policy, including fair labour practices, environmental responsibility, and ethical conduct. We reserve the right to terminate relationships with parties found to be in material breach of these principles.

7. Conflict of Interest

Employees and contractors must disclose any actual or potential conflicts of interest to management. This includes financial interests, personal relationships, or other circumstances that could impair — or appear to impair — objective decision-making in the course of their work.

8. Whistleblowing

We provide secure and confidential channels for employees, contractors, and platform users to report suspected violations of this policy or applicable law. Reports may be made in good faith without fear of retaliation. All disclosures are investigated promptly and impartially.

9. Enforcement and Accountability

Violations of this Ethics & Compliance policy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment or partnership, and referral to appropriate regulatory authorities. We conduct periodic reviews of our compliance programme and update policies as regulations and best practices evolve.
